I love this dish, its so easy and quick to make, and its so tasty and filling. Its my go to dish that when I don’t want to spend so much time preping and cooking. Yum Yum Tilapia!

3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 pinch of salt
1/2 cup of italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1 egg
3 – 4 tilapia filets
Olive Oil

Step 1. Dry tilapia filets on a plate with a paper towel on top and bottom.

Step 2. In a small bowl or ziploc bag, make the spice blend. (Since I make this often I have put my mix in a jar with a top) Mix together the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt.

Step 3. Add the italian seasoned breadcrumbs to the mixture.

Step 4. Coat the fish fillets with the spice and breadcrumb mixture.

Step 5. Crack the egg in a bowl deep enough to dip the tilapia in. Whisk the egg. Dip the tilapia in the egg and then in the spice and breadcrumb mixture.

Step 6. Heat stove to medium heat. Once heated add two large drizzles of olive oil in a pan.

Step 7. Add the tilapia filets to the oil and cook on each side for about 4 minutes per side, or until fish is opaque and can be flaked with a fork.

Step 8. Once done, place on a cooling rack with a towel underneath for draining the excess oil from the fish.

Step 9. Serve with a side and enjoy!
